Dr. Manish Malhotra

Owner / Chancellor

Founder and CEO/managing director of Australian Technical and Management College -ATMC from 2005, which is associating with CDU, FedUni and USC. In 2017 ATMC acquired Sheila Baxter Institute in Melbourne to create ATMC Education Group Dr. Manish Malhotra is also a Board member and a sole owner of ATMU from late 2017 Dr. Manish Malhotra performed as a research fellow at DSN (Distributed systems & Networking) discipline at School of Computer Science, RMIT University. He was a project leader of MIDAS (Mobile Intelligent Distributed Application System) which aimed in designing a scalable web services infrastructure for logistic applications. Dr Malhotra holds a PhD (Computer Engineering) from RMIT Melbourne And he completed his executive education with Oxford University in 2017 and London Business School in 2015.

Prof. Jack Hamlin

Governing Board Member

Dr. Hamlin holds degrees in Sociology and Psychology from San Diego State University, a Master's degree in Forensic Sciences from National University, a Juris Doctorate from the University of San Diego, School of Law, and an International Law Certificate from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland. After careers, which included psychological research for the Center for Prisoner of War Studies in the 70's, Law Enforcement in the 80's, a trial lawyer from the late 80's, and Judge Pro Tem in the San Diego County Superior Court, Family Branch, he began his final career path, teaching in 2003. He has taught courses in Law, Criminal Justice, ADR, Homeland Security, Public Administration and Sociology. For ten years, he served as the Academic Program Director for the Alternative Dispute Resolution program at National University. During his tenure as the APD, he published and lectured nationally and internationally regarding conflict transformation and restorative justice, including presentations before the Parliament of the European Union in Brussels, Belgium, and the Irish Dail. Now as Department Chair for Professional Studies, he oversees nine programs. For eight years, he was a senior mediator and instructor for the San Diego Restorative Justice Mediation Program. He continues to facilitate one on one victim-offender mediations and large-scale community forums.

Prof. Mike Clement

Governing Board Member

Professor Clements was appointed as the Chief Academic Officer for ATMC in April 2017. As CAO, Professor Clements has overall responsibility for the Academic Leadership and delivery of Tertiary Higher Education and Professional Year programs offered by ATMC, as well as the operational responsibilities for all staff in the delivery of education for our international student cohort. Professor Clements has a long, established academic career teaching and researching in Universities across Australia, Europe, UK ad Asia. He has a National Teaching Citation and is well published in international academic journals. He has held a number of Senior Management Leadership positions in various Higher Education Institutions across Australia, including Head of School of Business, and Acting Dean at The University of the Sunshine Coast, University Professor of Industry Engaged Learning, Swinburne University, Director of the Industry Internship Programme, Faculty of Commerce at the University of Wollongong. Prior to academia Professor Clements held Senior Management positions in the Corporate Sector engaged in the Food FMCG industry, and served in the NZ Defence force for many years. In addition to his extensive academic and corporate experience, Professor Clements has served on a number of external Industry and Academic Boards, and is a member on Editorial Boards for reputable academic journals.

Jeff Irvine

Governing Board Member

Jeff Irvine has more than 25 years of experience working in project management and daily operations for the renewable energy, utility and telecommunications industries. Mr Irvine has worked extensively in the United States and internationally, overseeing the engineering and construction of utility companies, substations, solar farms, wind farms, transmission lines and telecommunication sites. His years of international work include successful large-scale projects in Bogota, Colombia, and Indonesia, which earned him a reputation for effective project management in scenarios that ranged from straightforward to extreme and hazardous. As a project manager and operations manager, he has successfully overseen large-scale projects totalling in excess of $450 million. These include projects for EDF Renewable Energy (formerly enXco), JES Engineering, Alcoa, Koll Telecommunications, Bechtel, AT&T, Motorola, Sprint, Verizon and the United States Coast Guard. Additionally, Jeff has strong experience in business start-ups, new market development, new project deployment, operations organization, property acquisition, land use approvals and construction management.

Anna Lee

Governing Board Member

Served as a Program Director for five type A Certificate Programs (Accounting, Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis, Personal Financial Planning, and Business Administration) at University of California, Berkeley Extension. Ms. Lee is a passionate, empathetic and inspiring educator who provides student-centered education with high integrity, respect, and collaboration/collegialityvalues. Prior to moving to California Bay Area 16 years ago, she was a full-time faculty member of School of Accountancy at Wichita State University for 6 years. She has been teaching various accounting courses for UCB Extension since 2010. She has a career-long history of success with strong discipline experience in accounting/finance including 20+ years' relevant work experience and extensive knowledge in accounting related field. She has been affiliated with California Society of CPAs/SF Chapter as well as Financial Planning Association ,East Bay Chapter and SF Chapter. She is a former CPA and CFO.

Dr. Sara Kelly

Sara Kelly is an associate professor and chair of the Department of Journalism, Film and Entertainment Arts in the School of Professional Studies at National University in San Diego. Kelly holds an Ed.D. from Widener University, an MBA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, an MFA in English (creative writing) from Brown University, and a BA in communication from Pepperdine University. She was a long-time editor of weekly newspapers in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. Her writing has appeared in Salon, Mother Jones, Utne Reader, Town & Country, Men's Health and the New York Times Book Review. She published The Entrepreneurial Journalist's Toolkit: Manage Your Media (Focal Press) in 2015 and Personal Branding for Entrepreneurial Journalists and Creative Professionals (Routledge) in 2017. She produced and directed the documentary Model Citizens in 2016.

Liz Vinning

Liz Vinning has been involved in education throughout her career. She now works on boards related to education entities after many years working at DeakinPrime, the business arm of Deakin University, having held a variety of roles contributing to Australia's corporate education sector.Her particular expertise was forming enduring partnerships in corporate education. She began her career by earning a Bachelor of Science (Education) at the University of Melbourne, and then completed a Bachelor of Science (Honours) at the same university. In 2002 she completed her Graduate Certificate of Corporate Management at Deakin University. In 2006 she added to her already significant corporate expertise by completing the Company Directors Course from the Australian Institute of Company Directors. In 2007 she was a Victorian State Finalist for a Churchill Fellowship. At DeakinPrime Liz became account manager for ANZ Bank from 1998/99. She managed the ANZ High Performance Leadership Program and the design, development and delivery contract. Liz established DeakinPrime's partnership with Coles Supermarkets, which led to Australia's first corporate university, the Coles Institute in 1999. This was followed in 2002 by the Coles Myer Institute, which met the undergraduate and postgraduate education needs of Australia's largest private employer. Liz nurtured and developed this partnership over 14 years and it led to several significant national and international awards. As Alliance Director, Personal Injury from 2008/12, Liz worked closely with the Personal Injury Education Foundation (PIEF) to establish the first postgraduate program for personal injury senior managers, and assisted PIEF to become a Registered Training Organisation. She liaised with WorkSafe Victoria and its NSW and South Australian counterparts to develop a full suite of VET programs for the sector. Liz was key to several other initiatives, including a series of summit conferences, and building lasting relationships with Australia's most prominent companies and organisations. In 2014, Liz became DeakinPrime's Director of Client Services and Finance, and Head of Learning Delivery.a position she held for two years, responsible for all client programs and for Deakin's Registered Training Organisation (RTO). Next, as Head of Commercial, Liz was responsible for DeakinPrime's Financial, Quality, HR and OHS management and reporting. She also oversaw the continuation of the Defence Materiel Organisation (DMO)/Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) contract. In late 2017 Liz was invited to take up a role with the Society of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the religious congregation who educated her. She works with the Board Chairs, Boards and Principals of the four International Schools of the Sacred Heart in the Australia and New Zealand Province

Over the last decade, Narin has provided cross-border, commercial and corporate legal expertise to multinational organisations, public and private corporations and award-winning startups. His clients operate in diverse industries, including financial services, technology, eCommerce, education, fashion, consumer goods, professional services, real estate, construction and digital agencies. He has helped businesses expand internationally, enter regulated foreign markets, build joint ventures and negotiate cross-border transactions and disputes. Narin is the author of the Thomson Reuters Private Mergers & Acquisitions Global Guide (Australia) and is licensed to practice in New York and Australia.
